I have carved many totem poles. These are a few pics, but my best 3 poles are not included. ( I don't always remember to get a picture) They can be up to 18 feet long, but I would need more time to find a log the right size and dry it a bit. Most of the time people want a pole that is about 7 or 8 feet that is freestand ing to put on their deck or inside their home. Your totem can be any style you want. I can carve realistic animals, or stylized animals as you see on native poles. There are many types depending on the indian tribe who originally made them. In this are the realistic animals are the most popular. I can stack them in any order, or the order that seems the most logical. The best way to choose animals is to choose some that exemplify you.
The best way to decide on the type or style of pole is to GOOGLE "totem Pole " images and print out an example of one that you like. Feel free to surf other carvers sites and compare prices. My prices are very reasonable and if you are local, there is no shipping, just come pick it up.

3 animals - cedar - painted - medium detail- 7 foot carved

8 foot Walnut - fully carved - painted - $600
Oak Sylized Pole - Northeastern style $750
14 feet -10 carved feet- cedar - low detail - $750
This is actually a post style name log, but they are used as little totems in peoples yards. This was $150 for the name and $50 for the eagle -$200 total

Poles are priced by the "carved foot". For example, if you need a pole that is 'planted' into the ground (2-3 feet) there is no charge for the uncarved section.
