Carving on Gunstocks and handles is usually the most detailed kind of relief carving.    You may have a Shotgun or Rifle that you want to hand down to a son or grandson..  Why not have something meaningful carved onto the stock.   
You may have an old shovel or a tool that was used by dad for years and years.     Have it inscribed and add a carving to display proudly.


This is an old, family, double-bit axe.     I carved the Wood Den logo in the center with a Log Train the full length.    Something like this would cost around $180

Many quality and older guns have a solid wood stock.    Gunstock carving is high detail and finish, consequently more expensive.


This is a picture of a gunstock that I am working on now.    It is a Russian 7.62 rifle that a man is having carved before he hands it down to his son-in-law.     The butt will have a bear in the forest design and the bolt are is an Oak leaf scroll.   When done , the carving will cost $220

This is a target shotgun on a bipod, carved simply with a word on both sides of the gunstock.
