This is an eagle carved at The World Bird Sanctuary in Fenton on March 22nd in 6 hours.   It was donated to the bird sanctuary, is located at the turnaround past the Eagle cages.   It is 8 feet tall and valued at $700
Behind it is a Mastadon carved the day before at the Mastadon Arts and Science Fair in Hillsboro. (4 hours)

I love this picture.    Not because of the carving, but because Rose and Holly were small and used to ride with me in the front seat of my truck to deliver carvings sometimes.    They grow up fast.
